Sorry it has been so long since our last post. Before I knew it I looked up and there was March... now it's almost April?
Coming off the last post, here's a pic I took of our neighbor's. To see the full post, head over to my new photography blog!
In January, I started helping out with our High School Junior girls bible study on Wednesday nights. Over the last few months I've come to love these girls so much! It's been a few years since I've been able to do something like this and I realize how much I've missed it.
Right after the snow, Marcy came in for a visit and it was officially said, "Right now, Colorado is warmer than Texas". That was probably the only time all year that there was more snow in TX than CO. We had a great visit with her and definitely ate our fare share of Chick-fil-A while she was in town.
It's been one year since I first received my camera and with the purchase of a new lens, I've been excited to take more pics to build up my portfolio. You can see more of these at my blog, but here's a sneak peek of a few sessions I've recently done:
Now I'm in the process of finalizing my logo, business cards, and website. I'll be posting the final versions soon!
JT has continued to stay busy with school and working at the church. He just recently had Spring Break, but I'm sad to say that he was sick during the entire thing so he couldn't really enjoy it to the fullest extent. He did get well by the time Jack came for his annual March Madness visit. We ate way too many chips and salsa as we watch hour after hour of basketball. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE college basketball and especially March Madness because the bracket is what keeps me hooked. Even though I have no allegiance to any of the teams (well... only Kansas and Baylor by family association) it is fun to see if my bracket will come out on top. Ask me about this too when college football season rolls around and I get to do College Pick'em. Men, this is a great way to get your wives hooked into all the games each Saturday. Just ask JT.
He's also been busy trying to finalize what he will write his Thesis on for his final year of seminary... can you believe we'll be done in one year from May?? But not fully done... because applications for PhD school will be here before we know it. This fall JT will take the GRE and also apply for various PhD programs around the country. We'll see where this takes us!
April is almost hear, which means Easter is one week from today, and the flowers and trees have already started to bloom. I'm headed for another photo session this afternoon to take Easter pics. I'll post those soon.
Drop us a line and let us know what you've been up to. We'd love to hear from you!
