Apt 202

Wow, the past few weeks have been a rush of events. Macy started work for The Dallas Morning News, JT started his Greek classes for summer school & also started his part time job with Song of Solomon ministries. We also moved into our apartment in Swiss Tower, student housing, #202. We can't count the amount of times we've had the discussion of whether or not everything was going to fit in our 770 sq. ft. apartment, but with the help of wonderful friends & parents, we're moved in! June 5th was move-in day. For those of you who know us well, you know JT can't think straight when there are boxes & messes to be cleaned up, so we spent the following weekend placing furniture & unpacking boxes till it was all done.

As I (Macy) type this out I'm realizing we have no pictures from the move-in :( but will be taking pictures soon to show you our lives in our new place. Our first dinner was my fav, spaghetti, and homemade strawberry ice cream for dessert, yum! As I was thinking what to make for our first meal, I knew I wanted something fast, yummy, and something that required me to use as many of our still new wedding presents as I possibly could. And I did! Playing house is just as fabulous if not more than what I practiced for so many years of my childhood.

Now we're in the process of looking for a church to get involved in and also trying to meet lots of new people. With that comes lots of names to remember, but hopefully we can keep them all straight. We miss our lives in Colorado, but this move has brought so many great things. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and provision through it all.
