We're moving to Dallas, Texas!

Giddyup! We are moving to Dallas! JT is going to continue his Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary while Macy starts her PhTS degree (Put Husband Through Seminary). We are really looking forward to starting a new chapter of our lives. The move is going to be bittersweet yet really exciting. We absolutely love Colorado and the life we've created here, but Dallas is calling our name... at least for the next 3-4 years. After that, it's where the Lord leads.
We've known for quite awhile that we would be moving, but were never quite sure when the date would be. The range was anywhere from May-August. After making our trip to Dallas in early March, we really started getting the itch to move sooner than later. During that visit we both started pursuing job opportunities and looking into housing and summer courses. Then, just a few short weeks later we knew we would be going sometime in May. One thing after another, God just started lining everything up perfectly. JT received his part-time job offer from Song of Solomon ministries and signed up for his two major Greek classes, Greek 1 & 2, for the summer sessions. Soon after that, Macy completed her interview process with The Dallas Morning News and was offered a full-time position as an advertising rep for local territories.

God has more than clearly shown us that we need to be in Dallas... soon. So, it looks like we will be moving to Dallas on Saturday May 24th! It's exciting to finally have a specific move date to look forward to and plan on. However, that means there are only 5 1/2 more weeks to get everything packed up and ready to go! Our last days of working will be on May 2nd and then we will take a vacation with JT's dad, Jack, to Spain!

We've always wanted to go to Spain and see the culture there and we can't even believe it is now a reality. Both of us have been overseas before, and each time we go, our reality of the world we live in is rocked to the core. God opens our eyes and our hearts to see his vision for the world more and more. Whether it be for business or pleasure, going overseas is always an opportunity for God to do miraculous things, and we are so excited to see what is going to happen on our trip.

It's amazing to think about all the wonderful things we've been able to do during the past 9 months of being married and it blows us away how generous the Lord has been. This season of life has been nothing short of amazing and we are excited to start our next chapter in Dallas.
