Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! JT and I are enjoying our holiday in Colorado with all 3 parents: Jack, Marcy & Todd.

The turkey is in the oven, the sides are being prepared, family surrounds me, and my parade is on TV :). Today is a day to reflect on everything you are thankful for and quickly JT and I are reminded that it all comes from the Lord. Every blessing that we have comes from His hand. Praise and thank the Lord for our family, friends, jobs, school, home, and fabulous food to fill our bellies. We love you and are thankful for you!

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 118:1

Here's a view from where we are, Littleton, CO. Wish you were here!

I'd smiled and literally said out loud, "He bought me flowers!"
I love him. I think I'll keep him.

Babysitting Braxton

On Friday night, JT and I had the privilege of babysitting the cutest baby in the whole world. His name is Braxton.

Seriously, he is the best baby ever and it's probably because he has the best parents in the whole world, Ross & Elizabeth. They are very close friends of ours and Elizabeth is practically my older sister.

Here are a few pics from our fun, but short evening together (before we had to put B to bed).

Today was a first...

JT and I did something today that neither one of us has ever done before in our lives... we ran 10 miles.

I know that doesn't sound very exciting, but it was definitely an accomplishment in training our way to run our first 1/2 marathon on December 13th.

I'm so proud of him and that we are doing this together. Merry Christmas, JT!
